Legends Aviation Academy operates Tecnam P2008's as our preferred primary training aircraft. That means we recommend beginning your Private Pilot Course in this aircraft, and eventually transitioning to the P2010 for your instrument and commercial course. However, you can remain in the P2008 if you so desire for all courses.

Our P2008 is well equipped with a dual Garmin G3X glass cockpit as well as a Garmin GTN 650 navigator. This two-seat trainer is designed with comfort and sleek design in mind. With a composite fuselage and powered by the fuel-efficient 100 horsepower Rotax 912, the P2008 has a max cruise of 116 knots.

Utilizing a stick control for pitch and roll, the P2008 is very responsive to control manipulations by the pilots in the seat, making for a great training aircraft. The P2008 also utilizes an integrated throttle and mixture control within one lever, making it easier for quick engine performance adjustments.
